You have chosen the passageway to the left. The thing in the library is close behind you! You run down the corridor with cavelike walls. It feels like the walls could reach out and grab you. Ahead is a steep stairway leading up into complete darkness. You have no choice but to start running up the stairs and hope the way out is not sealed. 
As you get closer you can see the beginning of a long hallway with many doors. The flashing lightning provides enough light to continue up the stairs. Something is close behind you. You can smell it. Upon climbing the stairs you see something in the shadows.... 
Run your cursor over the stairs! You reach the top of the stairs and lock the door between the hall and the steep stairs. It may keep whatever creature was behind you out...for awhile. You have three doors to choose from. The rest of the doors are locked. No telling what kind of horrible things could be behind each door. How lucky do you feel?
